Vered Hatamar grows and exports Medjool dates from the occupied Jordan Valley. The company is located in the settlement of Vered Yericho in the occupied Jordan Valley and the company’s date groves are located in the occupied Northern Dead Sea area.
Mata Tmarim, one of the owners of Vered Hatamer, is also a date export company, located in the settlement of Vered Yericho.
Ownership
Most of the shares of Vered Hatamar are owned by settlement’s associations: 50% of the company is owned by the Mitzpe Shalem settlement in the occupied Jordan Valley (the settlement which owns Ahava) and 7.5% of the company is owned by the settlement of Vered Yericho cooperative village.
The rest 42.5% are owned by Mata Tmarim, a date export company which is located in the settlement of Vered Yerivho. Mata Tmarim is owned by Igal Eldan (The owner of the Eldan group) and five other settlers from Vered Yericho (each of them owns 16.67%).
