A private Israeli investment fund which operates as the business arm of the Arison Group.
The fund is invested in several companies that are involved in the occupation.
Through Arison Holdings, Arison Investments is a major shareholder of Bank Hapoalim (20.01%), one of the largest banks in Israel, which finances construction in Israeli settlements, provides mortgage loans to homebuyers in settlements, manages bank accounts of local and regional settlement councils, operates branches in settlements and benefits from access to the Palestinian monetary market as a captive market.
The company is also the controlling shareholder of Housing and Construction (47%), one of the largest construction companies in the Israeli market, which has built numerous construction and infrastructure projects in the occupied Palestinian territory.
Arison Holdings is also the full owner of Israel Salt Company, which operates a production site near Kalia settlement in the occupied West Bank.
Arison Investments is part of the Arison Group, which is privately owned by Israeli billionaire Shari Arison.
