The company develops and supplies perimeter control systems and intrusion detection systems for facilities and outdoor locations.
In September 2002, the company won 80% of the bids published by the Israeli Ministry of Defense for the installation of intrusion detection systems along the separation Wall. The company received orders of approximately 19 million USD to install detection systems along 150 Km of the separation Wall in the West Bank.
Magal developed Fortis, a security system based on CCTVs and command and control systems. It supplied Fortis to supervise the security around the following settlements: Ariel, Alfei Menashe, Karnei Shomron, Shilo, Geva Binyamin (Adam), Tzofim, Shaked and Giva'at Ze'ev.
The company supplied the perimeter intrusion detection system for fences around the Gaza strip.
The company is controlled by Nathan Kirsch. He holds 24.2% of the shares through holdings in Mira Mag and Ki Corporation, both of the companies are registered in Liberia.
